Every hour each day seems that jobs are being reduced in some businesses and positions for nurses stay on little supply. In a research, there were 116,000 vacancies for registered nurse positions in the country. The shortage is anticipated to deteriorate as days passed by. According to the spokesman of American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the lack of enrolment in nursing schools and the low remuneration given to nursing teachers were the possible root of the nursing shortage. More or less $68,000 a year was given to those jobs. In contrast, nurses in the same field of education who are required to educate are being paid more than $80,000 annually practicing in hospitals. Last year, a nursing school need to avoid approximately 50,000 applicants because of lack of teaching staff. The economic motivation bill of the newly elected US President Obama incorporates about $100,000,000 to assist the nursing work force to deal with the shortage. Also, Congressional Democrats have introduced bills to enhance centralized grant money for Colleges of Nursing. |
