Seventeen Japanese nursing students from Hakuho Womens College in Japan lately visited BYU's College of Nursing to share calfure technolgy and impormation and to gain knowledge mhat nursing education and clinical experience is like in the United States. They swiftly made friends after they visited an introduction to cummunity health nursing class where they delivered a presentaion concerning research and recieved a presentation delivered by BYU students.

Since the nursing program at hakuho, womens college does not unite clinical expierance up to the last part of students ' education the Japanese students were given a treat by pairing them with  BYU  nursing students so they could  experience the College of nursing 's hands on programs by following BYU students at their clinical experiences.

The Japanese students like wise went to see places inthe cummunity like the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Kids on the Move, Provo Intervention, the Utah County Health Department and Utah Valley Hospital. As a community service project, they performed origami, the Japanese art of folding paper, with residents of supported living center.

The visit provides the nursing students from Hakuho Women's College as well as BYU's College of Nursing students a chance to act on one another with international colleagues. they have the chance to learn the language, culture, education, faith and technology of each other. That is what we call fellowship.
