To make it easier to see who is in charge of hospital wards, nurses in Wales will begin to wear colour- coded uniforms.
Through the recommended colour-coded uniforms, patients will now be aware who runs wards or who is in charge on a ward once they enter the hospitals.
In addition to said recommendation, this will help control the spread of infections as the Assemble Government said that hospitals were working on providing staff laundries and changing rooms. If the objective of this recommendation would be successful, other countries like the Philippines could adopt the said colour-coded uniforms for nurses. [via uk.buzz.yahoo.com] |
