- Have enough sleep and take a balance diet.
- Stay fresh at work to make you feel good all night.
- Have a mental or physical relaxing activity before going to sleep.
- Never take stimulants like coffee while on duty. This can be addictive. Join your group and have some laughs or a few minutes break to relieve from stress.
- Sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet, dark, and moderately cold bedroom. Wear your pajamas and listen to a soft music.
- Never take sleep-inducing drugs. Instead, rely to your body clock (or have a change of body clock) to have a sound sleep.
- To make you on the go on your shift, do other errands during the day so that your body will be ready with your duty at night.
- Maximize your daytime salary so your night differential pay will be beneficial to other unexpected expenses like vacation fund and budget for hang outs.
- Treat yourself in your favorite place, a spa, read a popular book, watch a movie or have a savory menu. These are some of the rewards that you can give to yourself.
- Spend quality time for your family. Your family is the most important part of your daily life.
