UNLV Nursing School Achieves 100% Pass Rate

With the 2009 National Certification Licensure Examination, UNLV Nursing School achieves 100% pass rate during the fourth quarter.

Dean Carolyn Yucha of UNLV's School of Nursing said that they are really preparing our students to enter the nursing workforce and that this recognition pleased their record of their graduates to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Nevadans.

The pass rate also points an increase in students' success since the rate of 84.7 in 2008 and is seven percent higher than the national average.

Since licensure examination served as student assessment, having positive results served as an immense proof that a school like UNLV has an efficient program and excellent faculty.

The 100% passing rate of UNLV is expected to bring more nursing student applicant in the school especially nursing students.
