The uniform of a nurse plays a very important role in the healthcare industry. The nursing sector must stay smart by discovering a professional look that will give an impact in the workplace. Hospital staff must be noticeable to patients within the medical environment. Different types of nurses must be easily recognized in the healthcare system. From student nurses, senior staff nurses, ward sisters, phlebotomist, dental nurse, and qualified nurses. All of them should be distinguished by uniforms that they wear. The demand for nurses’ uniforms had increased in the past few years. In Scotland, a new dress code will be introduced to lessen the hazard of infection. The traditional white coat will be prohibited to let the staff wear the prescribed uniform. For instance, a tunic in one of four shades of blue will be worn by clinical staff while one of two shades of green will be worn by support workers.
