Medical professionals like doctors, nurses and attendants should wear hospital scrubs as a defense and to show professionalism. Nursing scrubs will help the nurses since their job requires plenty of movement. The scrubs are made from soft cloth like cotton and fit loosely. The cotton material will help to reduce or prevent bad odor. With this, infections will be prevented from spreading from one patient to the other. It is vital for hospital staff to wear the wide variety of medical scrubs that are available in a variety of patterns and colors, the most common are the colors light blue and white.

 
Nurses face flu vaccine dilemma

Margaret Hartle, a nurse in a nursing home is too afraid to get vaccinated because she had flu-like symptoms last September. The doctor diagnosed her with a viral infection so she is not allowed to go to work for a week. She is unsure of the reaction of her body. But she has already received the seasonal flu shot and would like to get vaccinated against H1N1. Since she doesn’t know if she had H1N1 flu, she doesn’t want to take the risk by getting vaccinated. She is scared to think what will happen if the virus mutates. All nurses and other people didn't get the shot because of being unconfident.

Scrubs uniforms must have deep cargo pockets, comfortable V-necks, and it should have all kinds of attractive, colourful, and silly designs. It must also wrinkle free and all while for comfort. Nursing clogs shoes must also give comfort. It should not screech to awaken asleep patients. It should not make you wince in pain when you take steps. Nursing clogs shoes must protect your feet. When a nurse walks in a hallway wearing her nursing clogs shoes and scrubs uniforms, it will reflect her quiet poise with confidence on how she look, feel, and decide. Nurses' Uniforms

In NSW, more than 1100 nurses have to wear uniforms that restrict their movement. This resulted to problems with the standard uniform introduced in 2007. NSW Nurses Association had experienced poor quality outfits. Kerry Rodgers, a nurse unit manager at the Nepean Hospital, only wear her uniform at work. She changes into scrubs when she arrived at the hospital. Still the shirt sleeve vanished after three washes.

 
Cutback of Nursing Staff

A meeting with the Goulburn Mulwaree Council New South Wales Health Minister Carmel Tebbutt was held to resist planned staffing changes at its local health service. Bourke Street Health Service will not be able to offer vital services if registered nurses are swapped with less skilled staff. Chris Berry, Council General Manager, said that it is a crucial service. He added that downgrading of services or cutback in service levels will affect the Goulburn community and in the areas that surround it.

It is vital to follow a good standard of health services in rural New South Wales. The council will start to manage a good hub of medical services to Goulburn community. Smaller communities in the northern part of the Greater Southern Health Service Area are also part of the service.
