- Have enough sleep and take a balance diet.
- Stay fresh at work to make you feel good all night.
- Have a mental or physical relaxing activity before going to sleep.
- Never take stimulants like coffee while on duty. This can be addictive. Join your group and have some laughs or a few minutes break to relieve from stress.
- Sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet, dark, and moderately cold bedroom. Wear your pajamas and listen to a soft music.
- Never take sleep-inducing drugs. Instead, rely to your body clock (or have a change of body clock) to have a sound sleep.
- To make you on the go on your shift, do other errands during the day so that your body will be ready with your duty at night.
- Maximize your daytime salary so your night differential pay will be beneficial to other unexpected expenses like vacation fund and budget for hang outs.
- Treat yourself in your favorite place, a spa, read a popular book, watch a movie or have a savory menu. These are some of the rewards that you can give to yourself.
- Spend quality time for your family. Your family is the most important part of your daily life.

Most patients want to go home after being hospitalized. They easily ignore the medications and avoid the follow-up visits which are vital to them. According to Timothy Bickmore, a Computer Scientist, about 20 percent of patients who are discharged from the hospital are readmitted within thirty days, and those readmissions are avoidable.
